I have also tried installing the latest Realtek audio drivers even though they have nothing to do with the webcam / inbuilt mic. It doesn't show up in the list of recording devices in the control panel sound settings, even with 'Show disabled / disconnected devices' boxes ticked. I've also tried installing these drivers under compatibility settings for the Windows versions they were designed for. I've tried almost every version of the webcam driver available from Toshiba on their website (even updated versions for different laptops) and the camera works fine but the mic is never detected or installed. I know the microphone hardware is part of the webcam and is usually activated by installing the webcam driver. I updated my Toshiba Satellite 元00 PSLB0E laptop from Windows 7 to Windows 10 last week and I've had no luck trying to get my integrated microphone to work - it worked perfectly in Win7.
